Jeevika Foundation is a Section-8 (Not-for-Profit) organisation incorporated on 7th October 2022 under the Companies Act, 2013. The Foundation is committed to advancing financial inclusion, women empowerment, and social security awareness, with a focus on underserved and vulnerable communities.
The Foundation’s activities are currently focused on community engagement initiatives in Odisha, with scope for expansion based on partnerships and program requirements.
Our Core Initiatives
At present, Jeevika Foundation’s work is organised around the following core initiatives:
Financial Inclusion & Literacy
Promoting awareness on savings, budgeting, digital financial services, insurance, pensions, and responsible financial practices to improve financial understanding and long-term resilience at the community level.
Women Financial Empowerment
Strengthening women’s participation in financial decision-making through targeted awareness sessions, confidence-building initiatives, and dissemination of information related to welfare and support schemes.
Collaboration & Partnership
Jeevika Foundation remains open to collaboration with CSR partners, government agencies, community institutions, and development organisations to design and implement structured, community-focused programs aligned with shared development objectives.
Through knowledge-driven interventions and responsible governance, the Foundation seeks to contribute to long-term socio-economic resilience across communities.
Social Security Awareness
Creating awareness about health protection, insurance, pension systems, and social welfare schemes to help communities understand eligibility, benefits, and access pathways within formal protection systems.
Governance & Operational Framework
Jeevika Foundation operates as a Section-8 not-for-profit entity and does not accept public deposits. The Foundation is not a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) regulated by the Reserve Bank of India.
The Foundation is currently focused on awareness-driven initiatives alongside responsible management and monitoring of its existing legacy portfolio, in alignment with its charitable objectives and governing documents.
All activities are guided by principles of ethical conduct, transparency, inclusivity, accountability, and respect for community dignity. The Foundation maintains internal governance and grievance redressal mechanisms to ensure responsible program implementation and stakeholder accountability.
