Jeevika Foundation follows guiding principles across the following areas:
- Ethical Conduct & Integrity
Upholding honesty, fairness, and ethical behaviour in all engagements with communities, partners, and stakeholders. - Transparency & Accountability
Ensuring openness in operations, responsible use of resources, and accountability in program implementation. - Community Engagement & Safeguarding
Respecting community dignity and ensuring safe, inclusive, and participatory engagement practices, especially in programs involving women and vulnerable groups. - Data Privacy & Confidentiality
Protecting personal information shared during awareness activities and ensuring responsible handling of data. - Responsible Governance
Operating in alignment with the objectives of a Section-8 not-for-profit organisation and applicable statutory requirements.
Disclosures
Jeevika Foundation operates as a Section-8 (Not-for-Profit) Company under the Companies Act, 2013.
The Foundation does not accept public deposits and is not a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) regulated by the Reserve Bank of India.
The Foundation may undertake limited livelihood-support microcredit activities strictly in alignment with its charitable objectives and governing documents. Such activities are conducted on a small scale, are community-oriented in nature, and are not commercial banking activities.
The Foundation remains committed to transparency, responsible portfolio management, ethical engagement with beneficiaries, and compliance with applicable statutory requirements.
The Foundation maintains internal governance and grievance redressal mechanisms to ensure responsible program implementation and stakeholder accountability.
Detailed policy documents and disclosures may be shared with partners, donors, and stakeholders upon request for due diligence or collaboration purposes.
